De’Von Williams, M.Ed.
De’Von Williams is a Son, Leader, Creative, Preacher, and Educator. He is the son of David (Jr.) and Natalie Goodwin Williams. With humble beginnings in rural Latta, South Carolina he has always had a unique ability to foresee, create and bring vision to pass.
It was discovered in his 9th-grade English class while completing a major project, where he found a love for creative design. That spark has now grown into a thriving business called “Expressives”. The company has been entrusted to large and small graphic design projects both domestically and internationally.
Education is one of the major pillars of De’Von’s life. While in high school he received the unmotivating opinion of a school counselor encouraging him to explore other options besides “Higher Education” because he “did not” have what it took. This negative news ignited a flame of determination to push toward his educational goals. Despite all, he was accepted into nearly 10 colleges and since then has consistently broken every barrier.
He proudly holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Management from South Carolina State University and a Master of Education: Higher Education - Educational Leadership from Liberty University. He currently is enrolled and pursuing a Doctor of Education: Higher Education: Educational Leadership with an anticipated completion date of May 2027. He currently works as a professor and advisor in the South Carolina Technical College System.
More importantly, faith is the foundation of all De’Von’s success. He received Christ at an early age and accepted the call of God in his life. As a licensed and ordained minister, he serves the body of Christ in various ways as a minister, counselor, and creative.
